Competitive dancing dreams come true!
Since 2006, Arthur Murray Inc. has sponsored and supported World Ballroom dance titles for all ages and proficiency levels. Pro/Am competitors of all ages (pre-teen to seniors) have enjoyed the opportunity to test their dancing skills at a world championship level, with events in American Style Rhythm Dances, American Style Smooth Dances, International Style Standard Dances, and International Style Latin Dances. World Championship titles in these same four styles are available to professional and amateur couples alike.
Stepping up on stage to wow an audience and a panel of judges can seem like a distant dream, but it doesn’t have to be. Anyone can learn to dance at a competitive level with enough dedication and the guidance of professional instructors like the ones at Arthur Murray. We teach dancers of all ages, and even a novice can start by taking the most basic classes and working their way up to a competitive dancer.
Competitions push you to achieve your personal best! Dance competitions can also be educational and inspiring! Observation of the different styles may give you a better idea of what to do with your own routine. Win or lose, competing gives you a chance to gauge your skill level and track your progress.
